Anyone who has played at a family card night knows the shape of Teen Patti. Three cards, a pot, a lot of bluffing. An app is stricter than your cousin about the rules though, so it pays to know the order of hands, the blind and seen choice, and the words used at the table.

The Basic Flow

Each player gets three cards. In turn, players bet and stay in, or pack. If only one player is left, they take the pot. If it comes to a show, the stronger hand wins. A regular 52-card deck is typical.

Hands From Strongest to Weakest

HandMeaningExample
Trail (Trio)Three cards of one rankK K K
Pure SequenceThree in order, one suit9 10 J of hearts
Sequence (Run)Three in order, mixed suits4 5 6
Color (Flush)One suit, not in order3 8 Q of diamonds
PairTwo cards of one rank7 7 A
High CardNone of the aboveK 9 2

Many beginners lose because they think a color beats a sequence. It does not.

Same Hand Type, Who Wins?

  • Trails: higher rank wins, so three Aces lead.
  • Sequences: the higher run wins. How A 2 3 ranks differs between versions, so check the table rules.
  • Colors and high cards: compare the top card, then the middle, then the last.
  • Pairs: the higher pair wins, and the odd card breaks a tie.

Blind or Seen

A blind player has not looked at the cards. A seen player has. In classic rules the blind player pays less per turn, and looking moves you to the higher amount. The stakes depend on the table.

Staying blind costs less and puts pressure on others. Playing seen means you bet with knowledge. Neither is the right approach, and many people switch.

Words You Will Hear

  • Boot: the starting amount from every player.
  • Chaal: betting to stay in.
  • Pack: folding. What you paid stays in the pot.
  • Show: with two players left, hands are compared.
  • Side show: a private comparison, only on some tables.

Three Names, One Family

The operator lists Teen Patti and 3 Patti. A tile called AK47 also sits in the card games. Variants like this may use wild cards, which shifts which hands are strong. Open the rules screen at any table you have not seen.

Good Habits

  • Pack a weak hand early. It saves money.
  • Do not stay in only because you have already paid in.
  • Choose a stake that lets you play many hands.
  • Skip any "Teen Patti hack". None works.

Tables are the same in the app and the web version. Log in through the login page, open card games and begin at a low table. Want faster rounds? Try the Andar Bahar and Dragon Tiger comparison.
